DC Ranch & Grayhawk Realtor Diane Brennan earns “Certified Scottsdale Real Estate Specialist” Designation.

I’m delighted that I can now better serve my clients after completing the Scottsdale 101 for Realtors program and have earned the designation of  “Certified Scottsale Real Estate Specialist.”

Where the Old West meets the New West

The Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors teamed up with the City of Scottsdale to teach a select few about the City of Scottsdale.  A maximum of 20 Realtors are taken through the program every year.  I feel very fortunate that I was able to participate.

What better way to teach residents and future residents about how the city is run and  all the  City of Scottsdale has to offer by teaching Realtors about it first?

We met with the Mayor, Council, City Manger, City Treasurer, all city department heads.  Not only did we learn how the city operates, but how they’ve managed to keep a high level of service with budget cuts.

The course included City Governance, Economic Vitality, Planning, Zoning & Neighborhood Resources, Public Works, Water Resources & Information Technology, Public Safety, Fire & Police, Community Services, Human Resources, the Court System and Green Building in Scottsdale.

I found the courses nothing less than fascinating. Not only did I find it great information as a Scottsdale resident but I’ve got wonderful information that I am so excited to pass on to my clients.
