The goal of Child Abuse Prevention month is to encourage public awareness of child abuse and neglect, recommit resources to the cause and promote community involvement in preventing child mal-treatment, and to promote well-being. SCOTTSDALE TROLLEY – Getting rid of your guests that visit you in DC Ranch & Grayhawk.

It never fails.  You move to Grayhawk or DC Ranch, then all of a sudden your friends and family “miss” you and have booked time to come visit.

It can turn into a lot of time.  A lot.

We all love company and after a while we all love keeping our company busy.

One thing I hear about from every tourist and visitor, is just how great the free Trolleys in Old Town are.

If it”s taking them to shop, tour or go to a Spring Training game, they are fantastic.  The best part….F-R-E-E.

How incredible is that?

DC Ranch, Grayhawk Shredding Event

We’re all concerned about identity theft whether we live in DC Ranch, Grayhawk or any other community in Scottsdale.  Check crime stats.

I rant and rave all the time about what great service the City of Scottsdale provides.  The Scottsdale Police department regularly provides an opportunity for residents to shred personal documents to avoid identity theft.

The next shredding event will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012 between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m at the Walmart  at 15355 N. Northsight.

City of Scottsdale Gives Superior Customer Service

You may have never contacted them, thinking that you’d rather fix the problem yourself than slowly descend  into the swirling black hole other wise known as phone automation.  “If you’re ready to strangle someone …Press  1.”

It doesn’t matter if you’re in Grayhawk, DC Ranch or from any other community in the country.  We’re all from different parts of the world and can agree…dealing with a city is not much more fun then going to a dentist with a hang over.  (the dentist, not you)

You may have tired of bracing yourself for the attitude that seeps through the phone from city personnel who should have found a different line of work……oh, about ten years ago.

Customer service?  Now….. cliche, archaic, non existent.   I think they retired that phrase to the vernacular graveyard.

But, before you lose all hope….

I’d like to introduce you to…..a fresh breathe of air…..an organization that delivers excellent customer service…….The City of Scottsdale.

city of scottsdale logo City of Scottsdale Gives Superior Customer Service

I just had to finally write about the great experiences I’ve had dealing with them every time I call.

Nothing but friendly voices answer the phone, direct you to the correct department and those departments return your call asap.

Even their website is a wealth of fantastic information. Not only do they provide information on great events, services but they have a great menu called

Look at this “How Do I?”Could it be any simpler?

City of scottsdale menu 149x300 City of Scottsdale Gives Superior Customer Service

How easy!

All this praise may be just my excitement over the City helping me out over a $600 water bill that I received.  Thank you unknown leak.

They were so pleasant on the phone that if it turns out that I’ll have to end up paying it, I don’t think I’ll mind.  Well… a little.

Every time I call, it’s a great experience.

That staff really wants to help you.  Really.

I had to call about a dumpster my client was concerned that was in an empty lot across from where he wanted to purchase a home.

Not only did the city find out who the dumpster belonged to, but why it was there, how long it was going to be there for and the date it was going to be removed.

And I got all the information the next day, as promised. And…by a nice City of Scottsdale employee who sounded like he really wanted to help me.

Kudos City of Scottsdale.  I tell everyone about my great experiences with you!!

If you’d like to move to this great City with the great website and staff…I encourage you to call me.
